As the office pumps with energy and creativity in one of the busiest Decembers I can remember, I snatch a few moments to reflect on all we have achieved 2019 and can look forward to in 2020...

A year of new beginnings

We kicked off 2019 with a new brand and website reflecting a fresh and sophisticated look and approach. Our sister startup, How Too, went from MVP to reality. The pilot has launched and we’re thrilled with the feedback so far. We can’t wait for our public launch in February 2020 to give as many people as possible the power to create great, inclusive digital learning.

A year of great learning

We were pleased to deliver 30 projects in 2019 for both new and returning clients. By incorporating new animations and games, we brought new life to digital learning modules. We were also honoured to receive some awards at the LearnX eLearning awards this year, for our work with not-for-profit organisations.

A year of growth

We have welcomed nine new team members across learning design, digital design, marketing, project leadership and development. I’m also particularly pleased to see team members grow and thrive. Ken, who has worked with us for over 10 years, was promoted to Digital Design Lead, Sheena stepped up to Production Manager and Bronwyn moved into Manager, Client Solutions; they are killing it in their new roles!

A year of inclusion

This was another year of celebrating accessibility at Savv-e. We sponsored, attended and presented at A11yCamp in November, which always reminds us of the importance of inclusion. We have also integrated WCAG AA standards into our content development tool, How Too, to assist our clients in creating great digital learning for everyone.

A year of doing our bit for the environment

This year, we’ve been excited to launch Savv-e’s sustainability strategy, put together by our Environment Squad - a group of team members responsible for overseeing the implementation of the sustainability strategy through quarterly meetings. The strategy focuses on a mix of short-term and long-term goals to make our business more eco-friendly.

Bring on 2020!
